Faculty of Economics and Management
Faculty of Economics and Management, founded in 2004, first as department of management and economic processes modeling, today is one of the major structural divisions of the International humanitarian university.
The faculty is preparing courses for 10 specialties, 5 majors and 3 qualifications, in class and home studies. The economics and management department has over 800 students taking courses.
Training is carried out at the Faculty of the latest techniques in classrooms with modern equipment. Students have the opportunity to work in the computer labs, which are equipped with various means of computer and office equipment.
Lecturers of the faculty uses modern teaching methods, role play, case studies and situational decision exercises, etc. The Faculty applies the credit-modular system to educational process. According to this system and in purpose to improve the quality of education, to adapt it to the pan-European requirements, students who have received training for a sufficient number of points are exempt from taking the exam or test. Considerable attention is paid to the faculty educational work with students.
System of educational work includes: legal education, national-patriotic education, environmental education, healthy lifestyle education and aesthetic education.
Faculty trains specialists with fundamental knowledge and skills in the field of economics, management, information systems for small, medium and large business enterprises and service sales, managerial, financial, investment, and other structures. Educational work with students includes the following sections:
• curators work with headmen and student activists;
• organizational work;
• cultural work;
• work with students living in the hostel.
At the beginning of the school year in all academic groups with the participation of curators elect their headmen. Deanery regularly invites headmen to meetings where we discuss various issues of the case related to the academic and educational work: attendance, student performance, extracurricular activities, etc. Considerable help in the educational work have student government. Students each semester takes an anonymous survey about the quality of training that allows them to be directly involved in the organization of feedback sessions. This event forms the students proactive stance, teaches not afraid to express their opinions. Our students not only study, but also actively going out. Various activities: tours, discos, visits to museums, sporting events, participation in programs on TV, recitals, KVN are being organized for students.
